At Cherish My Past, we understand the significance of honoring the lives of our loved ones who have passed. Our "Celebration of Life" services provide a heartfelt and personalized approach to creating meaningful tributes and preserving cherished memories. From converting photo collections into emotional video montages to crafting captivating stories that capture the essence of their lives for a eulogy, we ensure that every detail is thoughtfully considered. Our goal is to create a memorable and uplifting experience that celebrates their unique journey, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Photo tribute service currently available onsite in greater metro area of Indiana cities: South Bend, Fort Wayne, and Indianapolis as well as Asheville, North Carolina. We understand the tight timeframes for families suddenly facing the big challenge of honoring a lost loved one. We will work in close coordination with a designated family member and your funeral director to ensure that deadlines are met with a high-quality tribute.

Celebration Event Planning
Celebrate a Life
You recently lost a loved one and now so many important decisions to make during the grieving process. Do you want to create a celebration that will properly honor your VIP, but don’t know where to begin? We will help you with the event planning and logistics.
Scope of Project
From theme to venue search, space planning, decor, catering, entertainment, memory capture, and guest services; we will handle the details that are either overwhelming or outside of your skill set.

Funeral Video Montage
Project Consultation
Needing a digital photo reel to play at a funeral reception or Celebration of Life? Our Archiving Specialist will meet with a designated family member to preview the available photo collection and discuss options.
Scope of Project
Photos will be organized and scanned onsite with our high-quality portable scanners. No need to ship photos anywhere. Serving only markets noted in the “Locations” tab above. Packages start at $250. Available in Indiana and North Carolina service areas.
Deliverable
A file of scanned digital photos will be loaded on an external flash drive and / or uploaded to a cloud-based storage. Note that our photo files will not include music due to copyright restrictions.

Our Celebration of Life service is all about helping you honor your VIP especially during a complicated time of grieving. It could be as simple as just helping you create a video montage that can be played during a funeral reception or complete event planning of an incredible celebration of their life. Every family handles this differently so we help you carefully curate the right experience. We will also coordinate with your funeral director and / or church if you choose to do a traditional funeral prior to the celebration.

If you choose the photo and video tribute, it can include a wide range of content that commemorates the life of your loved one. This usually encompasses digitized photos and video clips, text overlays highlighting special memories or quotes, and any relevant snippets from previously archived collections. While we can't include licensed music due to copyright restrictions, we format the tribute so that it can be set to music of your choice during the memorial service.

The creation timeline for a Celebration of Life photo tribute depends on the complexity of the project and the availability of materials. A celebration with at least 10 days’ notice is ideal. Considering many funerals occur within one week of the death of a loved one, we recognize the tight timeframe and will do our best to accommodate. This is dependent on our current schedule of projects and requires timely coordination with a family member and Funeral Director.

There are several options for sharing photos and other materials with us. You can send digital files via email or a cloud storage service. For physical photos, we can digitize them as part of the service. If you've used our archiving services before, we can incorporate pieces from your already archived collection. We work closely with your family to ensure all materials are handled safely and respectfully.

The final tribute video is delivered in a digital format that can be easily played on a variety of devices. As we create the tribute, we keep in mind the technical requirements of various display scenarios. This ensures that you can seamlessly incorporate the tribute into the service, helping to create a fitting and memorable celebration of your loved one's life.

This is a customizable service with packages that include:
1) a do-it-yourself option with our coaching; or
2) our Specialists completing the logistics, coordination and execution of the Celebration of Life services. Event planning services currently available only in our Indiana markets.
